Sustainable Events
Measuring the footprint of an event, properly.
Events generate emissions across categories that are easy to name and harder to quantify: venue energy, attendee and speaker travel, accommodation, freight and staging, catering, and waste. We measure them.
What we do
We build an event inventory covering the full activity set — venue electricity and gas, generator fuel where temporary power is used, freight and vehicle movements, air and ground travel for attendees and crew, accommodation nights, catering volumes, and waste streams by disposal path. Where the venue can supply meter data, we use it. Where it cannot, we work from documented estimation methods and say so.
What you get
A measured footprint with its assumptions stated, a breakdown showing where the emissions actually sit, and practical reduction options for the next event — which, for most events, turn out to be about travel and catering rather than the things organisers expect.
Where an organisation wants to offset the residual, we can arrange that. We do it after measurement, not instead of it.
