Sustainability Education
Building internal capability, not dependence on a consultant.
Most organisations we work with reach a point where the reporting is being done for them but not understood by them. That becomes a problem the first time a board asks a question, an assurer raises a finding, or the person who held the knowledge leaves.
What we deliver
Sessions are built around your own data rather than generic material. Common formats include:
Board and executive briefings. What the climate disclosure obligations actually require, why AASB S2 is a financial reporting instrument rather than an environmental one, what the assurance process will look like, and where the organisation’s exposure sits.
Finance and reporting team sessions. How emissions data is collected, what makes a figure defensible, what an assurer will ask about, and how the emissions reporting calendar interacts with the financial one.
Operational and site-level training. For organisations with dispersed property portfolios: what data to keep, how to read a bill, what an NMI and a MIRN are and why they matter, and what “measured” means as against “estimated”.
Why it matters now
Climate reporting has moved from the sustainability function into the finance function. The people who now carry the obligation are frequently not the people who have historically held the emissions knowledge. Closing that gap is the point.
